Donegal Performings Arts is the premier high school theater program in the Donegal School District. Each year, the program produces spectacular fall plays and spring musicals for our Central Pennsylvania community. A multidimensional theater education is the goal of the program; we hope to train students in all elements of theater: lights, sound, wardrobe, makeup, acting, singing, dancing, paint technique, set building, backstage management, and prop design. Through the training of all these skills, the theater program fosters skills of collaboration, critical thinking, communication, creativity, and empathy, making Donegal students both theater ready and life ready.
2024/2025 DPA Officers
The heartbeat of Donegal Performing Arts, our student officers are responsible for recruitment, organization of club activities, community bonding, communication with the adult team about student needs, and fielding questions from new members. Usually juniors and seniors, the officers are students who younger performers can look to for a model of attitude, growth mindset, organization, and behavior.

DTC
(Donegal Theatre ComMunity)
Donegal Theater Community (DTC) is a collection of parents and community volunteers who support the Donegal Perform Arts Club and Donegal Performing Arts Production Team. The main function of the organization is to provide, at the request of the director, funding and volunteer support for events that the production team cannot manage alone. DTC is also asked to raise funds to be used for production needs outside of the budgeted and/or purchasing capabilities of Donegal Performing Arts. Monies are to be managed by the booster club but are directed at benefitting the students.
